Another reminder on the etiquette and correct way to rake bunkers. 

The video showing how to properly rake a bunker is now available on the GGC website under the Course Etiquette section of “OUR COURSE”, or click here to view.I am constantly disappointed with the lack of care and consideration some players have when it comes to raking out the mess they have created in a bunker.

Key points of raking a bunker.

• Push the sand to the front of the bunker, don’t pull it to the back.
• Use the back of the rake to smooth the bunker faces
• Smooth out your footmarks as you leave the bunker
• Place the rake in the centre of the bunker in the direction of play
