The Club Championships have begun with Round 1 for the Men completed – and some handsome scores submitted. The Women will play their First Round this week. Last year’s final rounds were well supported by members who went out onto the course to follow the last groups in, It created an atmosphere worthy of a fine finish and a celebration of the premier events in the club’s fixtures calendar.

In each grade, the top eight players will be seeded to bring the field in and decide the champions in all grades. The last two groups will be the top four players in Women’s A Grade, followed by the final group of the top four players in Men’s A Grade to bring it all to an exciting close.

To lift the excitement, continue the celebration, and outdo the crowds that stayed on last year, a BBQ will be set up beside the Hospitality Portable on Saturday 30th November, offering the best cooked snags and burgers in town – starting at 4.00pm.  Be there for the presentations and to celebrate the champion golfers of the club, it is certain to be memorable finish to this year’s Championships.
